ICT Training and Courses in the Digital Village Communities

In order to test and evaluate the Our Digital Village Activity Kit with teachers and trainers, training activities and ICT courses in educational institutions and community locations throughout the rural areas will be implemented:

• local trainings in each implementing country addressed to at least 15 teachers and trainers, to teach the basic skills of Coding, Robotics, Microcontrollers, 3D Modeling and printing, and web-development, in order to be able to use the activities proposed in the Our Digital Village Activity Kit, and adapt them to local needs and context
• 4 ICT courses in each implementing country with the aim to increase the digital and transversal skills of at least 60 learners per country based on the ICT challenges presented in the Our Digital Village Activity Kit. In order to increase even more these competences among learners, at least 25% of each ICT course will be dedicated to the development of a personal project that solves a (personal, community) problem by using technology and/or coding
